Pest control in Pune
Tezz Pest Control works across Pune city for homes, housing societies and commercial premises. Our base is on FC Road near Dnyaneshwar Paduka Chowk, so most of the city is a short drive away.
What Pune properties call us about
Pune's building stock runs from old wadas and 1970s low-rise colonies through to glass-fronted IT campuses, and the pest problems follow the building. Older buildings in areas like Kothrud, Deccan and Sadashiv Peth see a lot of termite work, because settled masonry and long-standing timber give subterranean termites an easy route into door frames and skirting. Newer towers see far more cockroach and ant complaints, because shared plumbing shafts and chute lines connect every flat in a stack.
Commercially, Pune covers an unusually wide range in a small area. Within a few kilometres we treat restaurant kitchens, clinics and diagnostic labs, IT office pantries, retail units and storage godowns — each needing a different method. A fogging programme that suits a warehouse would be both ineffective and disruptive in a laboratory, which is why we treat cabinet bases and equipment voids there instead.
Seasonal pattern
Enquiries follow the weather fairly predictably. Mosquito and ant complaints climb through and after the monsoon, when standing water collects on terraces, in planters, in drain chambers and on open plots. Termite swarms tend to show up around the same period, which is when people notice discarded wings near tube lights. Cockroach and rodent problems stay fairly constant year-round but get worse where food premises and garbage points are close to residential buildings.
